History About Artyurveda
As a Holistic Health Practitioner, Reiki Master and Ayurveda massage therapist, I have been offering healing treatments since 2000. After that I have been working with complementary treatments and workshops of Ayurveda and Reiki in Health Fairs in The Mexican Consulate in Santa Ana, California, “El Mercadito Comunitario” and in the Holistic Expo in SLC, Utah.
Since that time my dream was to create skincare blends that were organic, eco- friendly and free of chemicals with balanced, natural and clean beauty solutions. A modern alchemy inspired by the great gifts that mother nature has to offer us, like medicinal plants, flowers, fruits and grains, just to name some.
The Artyurveda logo symbolize the theory of Ayurveda philosophy of the five elements, the five principles of life that exist in the whole universe, the macrocosm, as well as our body, the microcosm. They are known as ether (space), air (wind), fire, water, and earth.
The three petals in the center of the logo represent the three doshas or the constitutional types. According to Ayurveda, each person has a combination of the five elements. They are Vata (air/ether), Pitta (fire/water) and Kapha (earth/water)
Doshas are important to understand how the body is formed and how it works on a physical, mental and energetic level. The predominant dosha in each individual is the basis for determining their particular constitution or mind-body type, their physical structure, habits and emotional response, and how it affects health when the energy or life force is not in balance.
